Equi-Tile is ideal for use in wash racks, barns, and breezeways. Each paver is 1" thick, 24” x 24” square and weighs 16.5 lbs.  Larger than many “brick-size” pavers, smaller than larger 4’ x 6’ mats, it is much easier to handle than most rubber surfacing… Equi-Tile endures the outdoor elements as well as indoors – it is a fast drying surface that cleans very easily with a simple hose outdoors, or a vacuum, broom, or damp mopping indoors… it is water permeable with a grid-pattern bottom allowing for better drainage.

The unique “Connector Pins” are another advantage… to further promote a safe and secure installation, each Equi-Tile paver has three holes drilled into the edges on all sides, accommodating the three-inch Connector Pin system. This simple system securely anchors each Equi-Tile paver to the adjacent paver, resulting in a finished installation which will not readily shift or slide out of place. It is also highly resistant to “pawing” by the horses.

When The Equi-Tile is installed with the Connector Pins, adhesive is not required, so drainage is also improved. It also gives you the ablility to relocate your new surface to another area if you later choose to. 48” x 4” Ramps are also available as “transition” or “beveled edge” pieces to prevent tripping when walking onto the 1” Equi-Tile surface.

You may install Equi-tile directly over concrete, asphalt or wood and related solid substrates. If you install over a loose surface such as crushed stones or recycled concrete, we strongly suggest compaction and an intermediate layer of landscaping mesh or geo-textile fabric for stability.
