Action Court flooring should be properly maintained to ensure long life and appearance: Sweep or dust mop on a daily basis. (We have found that a dust mop works best.) Depending on usage:  Sweep the floor surface and perimeter area on a daily basis using a machine (Tennant 6080 or equal) with both a brush and vacuum/filter system.  This is very important as lab test indicate the surface hardness of the material is such that debris like sand and grit will damage and open the surface if not maintained properly.

Spot treat any sneaker marks with a spray of 100% Taski Profi neutral cleaner.  A small spray bottle with this chemical  will be helpful in spot treatment.  Let this solution soak on the mark for 10 to 15 minutes.

Power scrub (with Tennant 5700 or equal type automatic scrubber) on a regular basis using a 3% solution of Taski Profi * (1 gal. of detergent per 30 gal. Tank of water) detergent and hot (125 ) water and soft nylon or white scrubbing pad.  A brush speed of over 300 rpm is desirable.  Work at a slow walking pace, covering approximately 10,000 sq.ft. per hour with a 28 inch machine.  Apply detergent, scrub and vacuum all in one pass.  BE CAREFUL NOT TO FLOOD THE FLOOR.  If the floor is badly stained or neglected, apply solution, agitate with brushes and do not pick the solution right up.  Allow the chemical to soak for 10 to 15 minutes with agitation before picking up.  This method is called double scrubbing.

If floors are scrubbed on a daily basis, detergent can be reduced to 2%.  If difficult marks remain, re-spot and scrub again.

The key to a successful program is consistent and thorough sweeping and scrubbing. Your sport floor will return to you: long life, good looks and versatility.
